Adults
At MCC, we are committed to creating Biblical disciples in relational environments in an effort to reach the world for Jesus - one person at a time. One way we do this is by offering our adults several opportunities to build relationships with others as they study God's Word and are challenged to live life like Jesus.
Sunday Mornings
We offer 3 different adult classes each Sunday that meet after our fellowship time (10:40 am).
- The New Beginnings class uses various topical studies that are taught in series. This class is currently entitled: Beyond Sundays - stepping outside the 4 walls for an "illogical" God. Those involved are finding the study both challenging and encouraging as they consider how to live out their faith in their community, at their jobs, and in their homes.
- The Gleaners class uses the International Sunday School Lesson format. This curriculum covers major portions of the Old and New Testament in 3 year cycles. Each week the class studies a different scripture passage, and over the course of 3 years, they will have studied most of the Bible.
- One class is specifically focused on teaching Foundations of the Faith.

Mondays
FOR MEN ONLY: Men's weekly bible study and prayer meeting. Come join us each Monday mornign from 6:15am to 7:14am. The coffee is hot and the fellowship is great. The Bible study is based on Proverbs, and the theme is "Building Character in a Characterless Society."
Tuesdays
Ladies Bible Study
Our Ladies Bible Study groups have taken a break for the summer. They look forward to beginning again soon.
Ladies Quilting Group
Several times each month our ladies gather to make quilts. They do this because they love to quilt, they love to spend time together, and they love to give them away!
Dorcas Circle is a women's group that meets the first Tuesday evening of each month from September through April. These ladies take turns hosting the meetings each month. Meetings usually include a brief devotion and lots of time to eat goodies and talk about whatever is on your mind. Dorcas circle is also responsible for overseeing several ministries at MCC.
Various Times and Days
101 Class
This class outline who we are at Morton Christian Church. Those who participate will study our vision, mission, doctrinal beliefs, how we function as a body, as well as the process we use to accomplish our goals of making biblical disciples in relational environments. These classes meet at various times in homes around Morton.
Small Groups
There are currently 6 small groups that are meeting on a regular basis. 2 are meeting Sunday evenings, 2 meet on Thursday evenings, 1 meets on Monday evenings, and 1 meets on Wednesday evenings. These groups are a place where we can pray together, study God's Word together, and serve together. We believe that real discipleship happens in small groups. These groups are currently studying God's Redemptive Story. As we read stories from Genesis through Revelation, we see that God has always been working to redeem His creation and restore the relationships to be as He intended.
If you would like some background on each week's study topic and scripture, Charles Feguson has prepared some handouts. You can access them by clicking HERE.
